My name is Leo and I live just out of Ballarat Victoria.... I work for local Government annoying good folk but best of all I love driving my shorty Luigi... It got that name cause it looks like something that the ethnic plumbers would drive around in the 70's.. I made a few mods over the years and still got plenty of ideas to come...
It is sad that no one appears to have done a real streeter one of these.. Mine has a invertation to the shed once the weather warms up for a fresh coat of paint but the next thing id the duel Keg fuel tanks set up on it.. My misssus is not to keen on him but she is comming round..
I have had it for five years and she got in for a drive for the first time a few months ago...
My daughters love him and love it when I pick them up from school... My youngest sits there telling me to go faster...
I hope to put up some picks once he's had a new coat of paint and get out and do a few more car shows to show it off..
I look forward to meeting up with some folk on here and maybe do a local run some time.. Cheers till then

John.. I grew up in Parkes as a kid many years ago still have family in the area.... My beddy got the name Luigi from my girlfriend as it looks like something the old wogs would drive around doing their plumbing or concreting.... lol But I recon Luigi looks cool.. I will be doing a resto on it soon starting with the motor.. It runs a 202 red but I have a stage three head, cam and roller rockers to go in... I have the ol three speed box in it floor shift... I love the nesalgic of the gear box so that will stay.. But to help with ratio problems I have used a ford AU diff with disk brakes in the rear and it lets the motor wind out nicely... Once I get stuck into the body work I will put up some post so people can see the progress... Once I work out how to put up photos of course...lol
Luigi and I have plenty of fun ahead and I hope to share it on here... by for now
