Hi Guys I thought id start a new topic Fiberglass Parts
I know a few guys are making them out there.
It would be a real help if people could put up some pics of fiberglass parts available to memebers
Bonnets, flares, spoilers, Doors etc
It will make it easier for people to find them if we put them in the one post
Im looking for pics of front spoilers and bonnets as I need to purchase some shortly
cheers

Here's some pics of the SWB Flares I just received from a place over in NZ who still has the moulds for a few Bedford bits from years ago. Garry gave me the list of what items they can still make up... And they aren't too bad either. Hope to have them on within a week or so for the final warrant stage...!
-
Hi Joel, I have the moulds for the front spoiler, and 3 different roof spoilers. I haven't the time to lay them up but could get them done if you ever need them. The flare moulds are still with a guy in Hamilton, the same as Garry had on Windsong, and also the later wing rear roof spoiler might be of interest to you at some time. Will also loan the moulds out to anyone in NZ that can make them, themselfs.

Joel, if you put these flares on your van and mould them in use Epoxy resin and mico fibres to make a past to bond them. sticks like sh...t and last a life time. if you want to screw them on take a fibreglass cast of wheel arch and join it to the inside of the flare, real good fit when in place and looks great.

Borrie and Ben's LWB flares.........cheers ShaneJ

sweet as bro ;D translation for you from Kiwi to Ozzie: "Ah yeah g'day mate howza goin? yeah good thanks howzu goin?" (that was the introduction in Ozzie dialouge) now in order to decipher the post, one must have a clear and concise understanding of the meaning in the sentence, hence the sentence is translated as "Stop making fun of our accent because it is not fair " ;D (hint: read it real quick to get the accent) ;D

In the last pic, it says "rear lower corner" do they have them? where can i get em, im after flares that have that part that goes from the rear flare to the back of the van (giving it a more sharp line)??
im noticing alot more vans (especially in the latest voting posts) that have them, i thought they were unique at first, but heaps had em...where are they all gone, as at this stage im getting most of my flares hand made with steel, and weld.
-
Hi Kirk,
I'm unsure what they mean by rear lower corner. Best to give them a call. And speak to a guy Anthony, he'll sort you out. 0064 6 868 9508.
