On the top choke plate there should be some numbers or around that area, anything there?
-
It has 487 on choke plate Busy.
Does that mean its a holley 487?
-
It should have a 4 digit number, is there any numbers on the part that holds that choke flap ?
-
These are the only other numbers anywhere near the choke flap Busy
On the carby casing Near the fuel inlet L7455
0742
-
Looks like it's a 450cfm
I'll look in my files tomorrow to make sure and see if I can find out what it was off originally
-
Thanx Busy

When i stand on it there is a breif hesitation

Thanks Busy,
Sounds like a can of worms to me.
Now what to replace it with?
-
Quadrajet as a replacement for sure, if you want one built let me know

How much for a good one to suit a 253 MaTTe?
