Here's wishing you all the best for 2015, may it bring all that you wish for.
Before the silly season we were looking at a BBQ around the 18th January, Is this going to happen?
I just need to arrange my life - if its on then I'll arrange it around this.
Maybe those North could hook- up up here some where and travel down in a group.
Looking forward to it.

Ok lets make the venue at the park that Clint mentioned. Lets have it on Sunday the 18th of Jan @11.00am. The park is on Kirkbride Meander and Harrington Waters Drive Waikiki. If Clint can make the effort to get in his electric wheel chair and travel there, then i reckon we can make a members day and have it down there with him. ;D Byo food and drink.
Google map it and you will see that its the one that has the big arse lake in the middle.
Just to avoid any confusion It will not be at Tomato lake in Belmont .... ;)

BUGA, I am supose to flyout on the 9th and back the 23rd but yet to be confirmed...so if I'm still here I will be there with bells on if not enjoy the day !

Just to confirm the Christmas gathering, the BBQ will NOT be at Tomato lake but down Waikiki way at the park where Clint lives, this is so that he can get there in his chair and join us.The grey lady should be on the road for it , just putting in a new dash - more mess than productivity at this stage.

Whats the go for Sunday , not quite sure if its on or off, If its on I'll need to re assemble the grey old lady in time to be there, I did suggest any NOR folk hook up and drive down but heard nothing
I'll be able to make it for an hour or so and then I have a catamaran racing commitment which I can't get out of.

Hey Bean, do you have a part# or code for the foam you are using. Can the foam on your console be carved or trimmed and sanded. I ask about the codes because there are so many foams out there its hard to know what to use.

Its just bog standard 2 pack urethane foam which they use in insulated truck bodies, probably around 40 or 50 density, Contact Nuplex in QLD( Michael Distasi) and ask him where it comes from -very easy to shape using something like 80 grit sand paper,or cut it with a hack saw blade, great for body mods, wheel arch flares and dash boards
Once you have your shape, seal it with resin and then glass over the top, It makes a huge mess but nothing that the house hold vacuum cleaned can't fix, just make sure the owner of the vacuum cleaner is out when you use it, they tend to get a little emotional when their domestic turn industrial.

Hey folks a great day had by all, good to see Clint again and looking well.... we had a total of 3 vans,1 camper, and 10 persons, 3 new faces, with their pride and joys, and as always a good story of their Beddie build, It was great to put faces to names/vans and awesome to meet you guys Mark, (supa camper) ... Brian and Jill ( Green Metallic Easy Roller )

I reckon there are a good few owners out there who'd love a day out, lets get a ground swell running here guys.Perhaps a run where Beddies get noticed and it sparks some enthusiasm for other to complete their projects .
Lets face it -We're not getting any younger and we can't take them with us when we go so we may as well enjoy them while we can .

Looks awesome ladies and gents, I'm thinking next cruise we head out and see Ian. We can either organise to pick up Clint, or chip in to cover the taxi cost.
Hopefully we can find a time everyone is in town

MaTTe chipping in to cover the taxi costs would be great but do you know how much those mongrels charge? As an example a return trip from Waikiki to the Burswood Dome with the discount cost$180.00, a trip to 'Charlies for an appointment was $150.00 and a trip to Freo was $100.00 now you know why I don't get out much

Hey Clint,,, That cost for you to go in a taxi bus, is that just you ,or are there other wheelchair bound people in the trip as well? im just wondering what those taxi guys would make out of one trip if there were multiple pickups. :(

Yeah it is expensive Clint, but if everyone chips in $20 it's not too bad. Plus Ian would surely appreciate a road trip to him based on being in a similar position to yourself. It's all about the brotherhood of the bugas ;)

The taxi can hold two chairs and two able bodied persons or one chair and three able bodied people
