Marishka,
I have a radiator that I wont be using, as I am converting from a 6 cylinder to a V8.
Where about's you located?

Mike

yeah from my experience with mine, it was similar to a torana 6 cylinder item.

I always thought the Torana units were shorter by about an inch- to clear the lower bonnet
I would go HQ/HX.

G/day Russell, n sammy.
I originally thought HQ-HZ,
But the side mounting plates are too wide.
HK-HG seem more like it.
Im not sure about torana.

I think they were HT, as the HQ have the wide sides

yeah I also have no idea if the Torana one is smaller, I just know that's what I used in my EK  and also it looked very similar to the one I pulled from the Bedford!

I have trimmed down side brackets of HQ and re-drilled holes before, and it worked.

I bought the HQ to HZ radiator with the long side bands from an epay store in Melbourne called Auto coooling and electricals .

I would have bought the HD HR to HG with the short side bands , but the HQ to HZ ones were on special at the time .

Both cores measured the same 370mm x 530mm

To save myself any cutting , l took my old radiator to the local radiator guy and got him to change the bands over , took him 5 minutes to do .

If your any good with heat and solder you could do it yourself   .

      Cheers Frank
