How come a wicked van from the 70s !!! Isnt seen to have value in the classic car market...???
-
not everyone has a sense of style, when they wake up itll be too late

Jimi, I reckon the Bedford needs another 10 years before it reaches cult status. The challenge is going to be reversing all of the modifications that we have made in order to get them back to the classic look. A split window VW bus with flared wheel arches, welded up doors and all kinds of other add ons is worth a fraction of the value of a stock looking one.

yeah I guess it depends on what the market wants a bit too...
I know personally I want to keep my van looking stock on the outside with modern driveline etc, but even that takes away from the value of a totally original van!

personally im going with what i like rather than whatll get money in the long run, i realise everyone is different and different needs
but id rather have something im happy with, or more than happy with

Good luck putting mine back to original lol

Your spot on Gunning. I don't think any of us are in it for financial gain. Its what makes us happy. We could be doing worse things with our money. What a boring old life it would be if we all had the same tastes.
