Title: European Auto forum with Bedford section
Post by: Nigzy on January 06, 2009, 06:59:17 AM
Yesterday I was surfin the web for Bedford stuff when I came across this little gem...
http://www.forum-auto.com/automobiles-mythiques-exception/section5/sujet306094.htm (http://www.forum-auto.com/automobiles-mythiques-exception/section5/sujet306094.htm)
the forum has 98 pages of Bedford related stuff..Unfortunately its in French I think...but I cruised thru all 98 pages and found some excellent Beddie pics..here are a few examples...

Hows this for a trailer eh..there are heaps of build-up pics of this baby!

G'day

I always wanted to build a dual cab ute, like a crewman, but the ADRs would make it too much grief to get it registered.

The sunvisor is very cool:

Is anybody going near France?

Cut and paste the web address into google and get it to translate the pages. It seems the forum is just like ours, enthusiasts looking for bits and peices and a chat.

G'day

That translator is lot of fun. It does seem to have a problem with mechanical terms and the word Bedford. Sometimes it being  translating to things such as sleep.

Still looking through this great gold mine of CF stuff and found this (and more pics) on page 69:

I was actually looking for CA Bedfords when I found this site..The french certainly love their custom vans eh  ;D Someone on there even posted pics of a few aussie vans, including a pic of Mystic Fantasy...Did anyone spot the spoiler/airdam catalogs in amongst all that?

Very informative

I never knew they did a mk2 with sliding door
and started to wonder about the left hand drive how the side door was next to the gas cap - they changed the dash and everything but left the gas tank and battery where they were, must be a pain to get to the battery
Looks like a lot of them are running isuzu diesel engines
