Title: Parts for sale
Post by: rumax on March 24, 2014, 05:27:58 PM
Hi All,

As you may be aware, I have recently had the good fortune to "purchase" 2 CF vans. They are definitely for "parts only" but here is a question or 2
a) does anybody want doors that need repairing
b) what are they worth.

Please realise they are in Adelaide and I seriously don't have space to store. If they are wanted, I will remove... otherwise, Mr Sims gets a bit more to recycle, after removing glass/door hardware etc. This is obviously the worst bits

And more photo's. the diff is a approx. 3.5:1 Bedford stud pattern.... any offers. There is also a standard diff, 3 x 3 speed gearboxes- 1 has a hurst shifter .... Plus fuel tanks, 2 sun roofs, 2 steering racks/cross members. let me know what you want. will be gone by Friday 4th april, so anything not off will be gone forever- I will remove what I can, but concerned the doors are not worth the time removing.

Cheers

Russell

I would be interested in a set of front stubs and steering link arms if you have them, would require posting to WA

Hi Russell,
I'm keen on a front end and steering set up, an engine cover and some other bits and pieces. Can you PM me your phone number, it'd be good to come and check out what you've got. I got really close to buying that yellow van myself.
Cheers
Phil

Hi Russell, Im looking for a fuel tank, in Brisbane, phone 0432676450,  e-mail perryc3@hotmail.com.au
.  I have just bought a 1975 CF sliding door am new to the site and Bedfords. Its a rat, looking to remove the gas and get it roadworthy in QLD. Runs a Cleveland 351, C6 auto, B&M shifter and 9inch diff that feels very low ratio, not a fast truck on the drive up from Sydney. And rust.
Hope I made it before the Simms Deadline ! Regards Craig, Brisbane.

Yes, it was. GO PLAN A. and I didn't kill myself doing it! Still have most of the white one to go.

As for what it is, Sammy.... I was thinking it's a vunk. Unique in it has a driving position each end. Easy to maneuver, great visibility and parking is a dream.  :D
