Post by: mezzmo on March 16, 2014, 12:54:21 PM
Hi Guys,

In my stripping of the beddie i have misplaced my holder for the air cleaner - this is the bracket that secures the air cleaner housing to the firewall, if anyone has a spare i'd be extremely gratefull!!

cheers

Buga, i dont think thats the one mate - my cleaner has a plate on the back with a clamp attached - the bracket is similar to yours but has a round fitting on both sides as apposed to the one in the picture which appears to only have one.

thanks anyway

If you have no joy I've probably got one on my Bedford you can have, its not going to be needed with a 304 :)

If you have trouble finding the original filter element ( I did ) you can use 2 x 4cyl  Torana ones . Ryco A109 or similar .  I zip tied 2 of `em together and it works fine . It leaves about a 20mm gap between the base & cover of the filter canister but doesn`t cause any grief . Yet anyway  :) .
Anyone got a source for the original filter?  Have tried all my local blokes but no-go .
Cheers, Bob
I bunged a pic of my filter in my gallery
