Gday everyone, my names Brett ive been looking at this site for a while but ive only just recently bought a beddie. Its a 71 swb, 6 cylinder 3 speed. I hoping to put in a v8, size unsure as yet. unsure which way to go....70's coolness or a stripped down sleek look. I may have to get two and do both. I do like the colour orange too, maybe 70's burnt orange

welcome on board. Heaps of info & inspiration here. There are some nice photo's of a fuel injected V8 in the gallery to make your mouth water. Can't remember who's it is, but brilliant. Enjoy the ride... Russell. ;D

Welcome to BUGA, plenty of great ideas & always get pointed in the right direction by one of the members! :)
Have fun with the beddy, I recently painted a cj5 swb in a Chrysler colour, 1974-76 vintage. desert orange, looks awesome all buffed up & is the right era, give it a look. works well with black, bone, brown or grey interior as well.
ROTTI :)

Thanks guys, Im still in the daydreaming /planning stage. Would like to build a cruiser not a super fast street machine, just a reliable engine with grunt where its needed, maybe a camper style with a bed
Was thinking of trying a wood floor in back, custom dash, sunroof or two, flared guards and front spoiler similar to yellow peril (think thats the name) although the scooby kit is cool.
im also a fan of the fantasy airbrush work.....maybe include something on it
Theres alot of work ahead and decisions yet to be made
