the front door rubbers are actually made up out of 4 different sizes, the top, bottom and sides are all different to each other so no replacement will ever be 100%

oops, sorry your talking window channel, it will fit up top, the channel is the same but the original was longer to flare over the steel lip

ahh forgot about this, ok sorry for the time warp.... ok did a heap of research for our baileys channel but to no avail, sooooo best to use our original rubbers and re line them with a thin felt, that can /should be able to be purchase from your local dealers, then glued to the original baileys channel, I have some ready to do at home was thinking of doing a exchange thing if people are interested?

Dano, I face the same problem and I've been giving it some thought. The only reason that I can see for the top Bailey channel having to be so deep is to accommodate the shaped cut out at the front of the side window. What if we were to replace the front window glass with a straight cut rather than the shaped recess at the front. Then all you would need to do is to push in a spacer into the upper opening first first and then a standard depth Bailey channel next. Keen to hear your thoughts.

yep good thought, the original "drop cut " was believe it or not ... the demister... back in the ol mother land....I am wondering about new glass my self having just had some glass cut  and tempered for the wife, ment to but forgot to ask them at the time.

why is it, that all beddie glass is so badley scratched? food for thought... anyone had some new ones done?  price?

I'm hoping to play beddies tomorrow , will have a good look at it

Yep, Dano, the front windows are flat so can easily be replicated. There is someone down CF Jeff's way here in NZ who does replacements in tinted glass for NZ$80 for a pair. My barn door glass is pretty badly scratched but they have a slight curve which makes them difficult to replicate. I thought of taking them along to the guys who remove graffiti from glass to see if they could polish them up for me. Its on my "to do" list. I'll let you know how I get on.

Gordon, the straight ones will fit in the back doors, they came out curved and flat

Hi Busy, so if I use one of my curved windows as a template and have it cut in flat glass it will fit OK ?

Now I am the one getting excited.

Cheers Gordon

Hey guys, try G James Glass here in oz, Rob from BEDFORD MANOR had new front glass done when he built his ute. He had the glass cut, demister deleted, built in dark tint and toughened, for, i think was $100-00. They do look flash, especially with the tint already in he glass.
