Mate you posted this a few months back, and after much discussion you agreed that holden stubs do not fit bedfords before asking about having drop stubs made specifically for bedfords.. do you not remember?

It's the 'might fit bedford' part that concerns me.
We had an indepth discussion on this previously, and you were an active part in the conversation.

Don't get me wrong, it's great to post up parts that people may want, however misleading comments could well convince people new to bedfords to go out and waste money on parts that are not suitable without significant modification..

They are the same as the one getting fitted to a New Zealand van as we speak, at a much cheaper price,
So thanks Vintage

Hi Keith,
Our lowered stub axle kit to suit the Bedford costs $1,000.00 which
covers a pair of axles,  reaming the bottom balljoint, drilling, tapping and
spot facing for steering arms,  top balljoint conversion and strengthening
rods.  GST is also included and postage is extra.

The information above is not correct. The Stubtech kit uses a standard Bedford top ball joint. It is the bottom suspension arm that is modified to take a HQ ball joint anf then fitted with strengthening rods. I can only assume that Rod had his wires crossed when he originally wrote this.

Hi Vintage. The strengthening rods are currently with my fabricator. I'll post some pics of them and their positioning as soon as I can.  Cheers Gordon

Hi Vintage

Visited my fabricator earlier today and managed to take a picture of the strengthening rods. They are nothing flash, just a horseshoe shaped piece of 8mm steel rod that gets welded around the outer lip of the suspension arm where the new ball joint seat is fitted.

Hope this helps.
Cheers Gordon
