What a bloody shame. That was a beautiful van in its day. I'm assuming that Sully sold it then. It used to live in Taupo but from the sellers alias it looks like it might be in Christchurch now.

Hi, My name is RED. I built the van. It was a 1973 and I starting mods in 1983 and finished the paint job in 1991 and I sold it in Auckland in 1999. The V8 motor used to be a rebuilt 350 chev with 350 shift kitted chev trans. It had holden HQ front discs, a vauxhall cresta 3.55 to1 diff, central locking, twin isolating batteries, morris marina door handles, shortened front doors, mahogany interior, 40 metres of blue dralon interior, wine barrel seats with brake locks. cable auto shift.good luck redleigh (3 )

I dont understand why people insist on cutting the front section out to get the motor and front end out.......you dont have to jack it up that high to get it out.....if anyone buys it, it will be hard to put he front section back it. Certainly not for $10k!!!!!!

The front section can always be made into a 'bolt on' cross member to make things easier for any future engine exchange.
