aahh widened wheels although 14`s may be alittle hard to find and probably expensive might have been cheaper with new 15`s looks like the centers unbolt can you get some outers in 15 that fit . hope you get some tyers cause they look PHAT ;D
-
yeh just got off the phone with joe.. he said he has 285's x 14's.. gives me a little hope..
hey strez i didnt pay much for these rims..(100 each. as apose to 660 each for new 15's) if i cant find tyres ill put them on my wall or just use 265's.. i can definatly get them.. been told yokahamas 265's for 200 each new.
cheers

noice ben I like dragways on beddys mmmmm
-
Yeah Dragways look awesome on Beddys!
Hey Ben I would have thought you'd have no problem still being able to get Yokohamas and BF Goodrichs for 14" rims all the way up to 265.
-
yeh i have a set of 265 yokahamas.. but they fit on a 8" rim.. id like 285 295 something like that..
i just sold some tyres on ebay 265 14" in bridgestone for $450.. insane!!
antique tyres do up to 265 old stock.. but i want wider!!

The fatter the better!!!
I have made some progress..........
but not with the bedford. A mate of mine is moving to Qld and is only taking 1 of his cars with me and has left me his other. At least I can be mobile when I want now. Work is picking up a bit too and just applied for a 2 year contract in W.A, that happens and the beddy is back on track so fingers crossed
-
the fattest I could get for my 14 were Pro Tracs, G50/14's similar to Mickey Thompsons, came in about 285, but completely S/house in the wet, the ol' 173 could smoke em, man that was fun.......and slippery. 15's the only way to go ...to get 295...sorry dude :-\
-
Not sure what is on my van
Bridgestone something I will have to check.
but they are 11 wide on the rear and 8 or nine for the front
-
285's would be fine.. might try that..
but my newest idea muhahahaha
15 x 10's on back 14 x 10 on front!!!!!!!
anyone know about these cetres alloy sections to go between dragway centres and this rim? it has 10 even bolt holes that are supposed to bolt to a alloy ring to then bolt to the dragway orig centres.. only for the 15 x 10's that i jsut purchased off ebay..
anyone know anything more about this??
cheers

-
Hey Ben if you put one on top of the other, could you hide in them?? lol
-
guys you have to be careful with 2 peice rims , my mate over here otherwise known as wobbly bob , has run bedfords with variuos v8s over the years and has numerous 2/3 peice rims fail under load , not good at speed. he sticks only to single one peice rims google` wobbly bob' to see his acheivements. ade
-
hey stumpy your supposed to tell me that before i buy them not after!!! but thatnks anyway lol
cheers

11.77et is a little different to the average beddy which is usually timed over the 1/4 mile with a calander so the excessive speeds should not be too much of a problem! ;D ;D
