Title: Rear wheel bearings

Anyone know where to get rear wheel bearings at a decent price? Jw classic dude told me they cost him 240 bucks each! Thats insane. I got a price off a bearing place for 160. Slightly better. Still crazy. Here is bearing no. 415691b and cant get the shrink ring anymore:(  but got a substitf thats 5 mm skinnyer r107.  Cheers ben

i bought two of ebay UK, one was a bargain at $50 landed from UK,
one was a ripoff, landed at $50 - it wasn't a bedford and no refund >:(

i have just done wheel bearings on my bedy and used toyota corona shrink rings, they have atighter interferance and no way will ever come off  cheers stevo 8)

A family friend has a bearing shop, what make is the bearing???
A picture would be good too.

I might add - they can make any bearing as long as they have the original to copy from.
I got them to rig up some custom bearings for a dirtbike I was customising, fit like a glove....

They have a good setup with lathes ect and shelves and shelves full of bearings...

A lot of their work is for farmers at harvest time when a machine goes down it is often
quicker for them to machine a new bearing from scratch than waiting for one to arrive
from America or O/S.

If I ever need a bearing I just ring my cousin, tell him the numbers and make and bobs
your uncle they whack it in the post for me.

Only thing is they are located in Central West NSW. For the dirt bike bearings I just sent
them to them in the post and they posted the new custom ones back to me.
