Clint, can you do me the favor and edit the photos of my van so they do not show my numberplate? It's one thing on a private site like BUGA(if this is even true..?) however very different on a public site like facebook.
Cheers,
Matte

Mate my technoligical advancements would be to put a piece of cardboard over the rego plate and take another photo, personally I wouldn't be bothered coz if they wanted it they would follow you home and car car-jack you, if you know how to get peoples names from rego plates I'd like to know
-
Mate, it is of concern to me. Professional car thieves love social media, the people that follow me home are unavoidable as are those who drive past my house. However better to avoid the extra risk in my opinion.
If you are unable to edit the photos, by all means send me ALL of the photos and i'll do everyone the favor by editing out the number plates before you re-upload the pics.
This was one of the concerns raised last time a bedford facebook page was discussed, many were against the idea of having their vans on a facebook page at all.
Personally i don't mind so long as my plates aren't advertised.
Cheers,
Matte

I'm with Matte. If you can't respect his wishes then remove any pictures of his van. You have no right to them.

Fair call, PM me your e-mail addy and I'll send you the pic's but what do you do when an event is covered in a magazine they don't blot out the plates?
