do yourself a favor and loose internet explorer, use firefox or if you want fast, no frills use chrome (both free and don't need endless updates to make them safe)
-
hey busy, i lost java or whatever it is that reads pdfs, so i called in my tech guy and he installed firefox, and so far so good. It takes some time to get use to, but when you do its not to bad.

G'day
I use Firefox with Add-ins like Adblock Plus and Australian English Dictionary.
You can also make Firefox run fast. Google "make firefox run faster" for plenty of suggestions.
-
firefox is way faster than ie, but chrome is faster again.
firefox - http://mozilla.org (http://mozilla.org)
and if you hate outlook (or windows mail as it's now called), you can get thunderbird (done my mozilla)
the developers of firefox once worked for netscape, and chrome from firefox
