wanting to find out what the centre tial light is out of can you help

is it the landau (however spelt), was similar in shape to the falcon and tail light were similar to the mk4 zephyer

Landau was a lot skinner and looked like nine individual rectangular stop lights and two indicators in a row

It looks to me as though the center panel could be a made up frame with plastic set into it.
Enlarge the photo as far as you can and this starts to look so.
This would also account for it's perfect fit.

You're right hotrod,

my second guess is mk4 zodiac, that's what i meant above by the tail lights being similar to zephyr

i remember jeff(cfjeff) sayin not that long ago that the tail lights were mark 4 zepyhr but no mention of what the centre panel came off
jeff might know what or who to ask

yep original builder once told me it was off a ford LTD, just dont know what model or year.

hows this one compare to the one on ur van mike?
used one of ur pic's that are from its "show era" n looks pretty bang on if that's still the same one on it
 search/google 71 ford ltd - the one i found thats is from a yank ltd
