Gidday, you can have wiper dwell in a bedford, i slightly modified the wiper dwell unit out of a 83 commodore and fitted it to my beddy, luxury on those days when it just dosent quite rain enough to turn em on full. All you need is a bedford wiper motor with self parking (it returns to the bottom when its turned off).
And although it comes from the wrong side of the fence, nice dash!
Cheers Jeff

In case you're interested this is the link to a thread where I explained how I swapped the Bedford wiper motor out for an EB Fairmont one. Think a couple of the guys here have done this since.

Lots of things fit for the wipers, my 2 vans use different ones, custom van is toyota and standard van is commodore. they both only required one extra hole to be drilled

which toyota and which commodore?

vn commodore and toyota corolla (lots of similar toyota ones that work, corona, windom ...)

When i was doing my column and indicators i looked at a ford transit, but the one thing that turned me off was that all the controls are reversed. Indicators are on the left and wipers are on the right, for me it would of just been annoying to try and remember which is which.
