im still on the hunt for a diff for my cf1 im in nz and are having trouble finding a diff for my van anyone help

I have a borg warner (ford) diff here, if any one wants it ...... needs a rebuild , better for 10' rims and well re-enforced....

if its in good nick yeh.
i got a chev diff for 160 bucks.+ freight, i then had to spend 500 bucks on axels and bearings because they were both chopped out so thats almost 800 anyway.

Dont know why you guys stuff round with these old hard to find diffs they cost heaps to buy then you have to have the axels redrilled they are hard to get parts for @ i think there just not worth it Get yourself a late model commodor diff @ widen it useing 2 long axels like in my diff posts easy to do & cheap to buy &you can get parts for them anywhere & bonus disc brakes Mine cost less than 100 bucks Just my 2bobs worth Cheers Reid

hey reid that sounds awesome. i thoght you had to make up a jig to make sure when you weld it it stays straight thou? how did you get around this?

If you have a look at the thread Reid makes a sleeve that fits inside the tubes keeping it inline.

sweet i got my diff mite just do the same thing to it got my diff for 150
