Hi Reid, Love the 6 wheeler concept. Mines already done like that, makes for a fabulously smooth ride on the road. Check out my gallery for spme pics.

Yes Clance saw it do you have trouble with wheel spin when you back over kerbs & how is the rear axel supported leaf springs or coiles Cheers Reid

Hi Reid, No, not so far in regards to curbs etc. The beddie is so big anyways you tend to avoid situations where that could occur. I've had a couple of 6 wheel 1 tonne utes in the building game and yes it was and is a prob rolling up a bit of a bank then not traction. mine has a LSD which helps but one day I'm sure it will happen!
The lazy axle is leaf sprung, not coil, so I can't flick a spring out!
Thats a great looking van by the way! where is that from?

hey clance.. was your van standard like that as a 6 wheeler? or was it a mod done?

Hi Ben, nah it isn't standard it was done before I bought it. the diff has been moved back about 800mm and the chassis rails extended by about 1.8m to allow for the lazy axle. I'll put up some pics in my gallery today for ya.

geepers creepers, that pic calls for some comments ...... do not drive this vehicle if you like curry or eat lots of beans, one bad fart and you would blow those rear doors off !!!!!!!

this is what you need clance,was toying with the idea of dual diffs in my camper but were i go hunting and fishing i would have a few traction problems, anyway found this on the web ages ago, emailed the guy and he said he could supply the drive for abour 2500 us check it out stevo 8)
