I remember this when it was new and Chanel 7 used to show it on thier promo ads all the time....good project for someone!!!

I've already used the "It followed me home. Can I keep it" line with my current Camper. Can't use that line anymore. Like you Baz, I think this one would cost me half a house if I was to drag it home. (AKA divorce) ::)

True!!! hadn't thought of that. Somewhere to sleep and use the cherry picker to watch the race over the top of the crowd. (Might be a bit of a problem if you have to make frequent trips to the loo though. could get messy at that height ::) ;D

I am a bit lost where a cherry picker on a LWB leads to a No2 but anyway.
Thinking about it "Cherry Picker" would be a good name for a fitted out van.

As far as using a funnel & garden hose, I have found a green banana, a ripe banana, and an electric cattle prod are all you need.

I dont quite know what im doing with it yet eg,just use it around my house to prune some rather large palm trees by just chucking an old 202 auto in it or to remove all the hydraulics ,boom,etc and return it to the road.Should i carry on in this section or move it to another section under restoration or similar any thoughts?.John

Post by: johnp on February 11, 2012, 08:36:18 PM: Thanks guys,i put power to hydraulics today and oil went every where so probably wont pursue getting it all working as i can see a lot of time,money and effort going in to an area that isnt a must have,i would only use it once a year or so ,so getting van back on road to have a bit of fun with will prob be the go.Shame in a way but is really quite heavy etc to keep as one unit,apparently orig cost $75,000 to build back in 80,had 308 t400 and GTS dash(which is what it was wrecked for) i will get photos up as soon as my son can do them for me,cheers John
