If any one has some advice i would really appreciate it!
can i use the diff assembly from a 78 (swb) beddie in a 79 (swb) beddie. Should it, essentially, just bolt in?
My poor beddie is just sitting there...... waiting
Cheers

Shouldn't be any problem at all as long as they are both Bedford diffs,.
People like us swap them for other makes to get more friendly ratios, and that can create fitting difficulties.

if it has the same spring setup & uses the same drive shaft connection and Drum size (9" or 10") then 99% yes you can use it..

oh & if anyone wants a good Bedford standard Crowwheel & pinion i have one to give away.. was a good runner no wihines or noise when it was in the diff but taken out to replace with cresta center a while ago.. we are moving house this weekend & some stuff has to go as not as much room (small 1car garage)
