Hey reid, all i want is a shell, you can have the ford motor. I have plans for the LWB and it dont include the running gear. ;) I need the shell, front glass, and doors, and minimum rust. So if anyone finds one, mainly in brisbane if you can let me know with pics, and i will go and have a look at it.
thanks,
george.

Im on to you George Your gunna make a trailer out off it arnt you

Eventually i will be doing a beddy trailer, but no reid, i have even BIGGER plans for the LWB, a mind blowing custom job, plans will be revealed here once i have the shell at home. What i will say is, it will be driveable and it will be an awesome show piece. If i end up with a rolling shell i will sell off the running gear, i also dont need or want any interior, just a stripped body, so am hoping there is one floating around brissy somewhere for a reasonable price.

George, first it might be a good idea to finish off the one you have, other wise you will end up like the rest of us. A few van's but none finished........... :D :D

so true

That's not true. I've only got one and that's not finished! :-[

true true, but if i get it now then its one less thing to do when the time comes. I am on the hunt this week for a new sheetmetal guy so that next year i can get started again and finish it off. Considering what i am after LWB, i should find something under a grand, also while its siting in the workshop, i can be designing that while the metal guy is doing SWB. My SWB is almost done as far as metalwork goes, all up if i could get a mechanic and metal guy, it would be done in 3 months. put it this way, SWB will be done by 2013 van nats if we get them in qld, because i will be there with mine, heres hoping we get them.
As for the LWB if you guys can keep your eyes open and let me know, just in case i miss one. Thanks.

Hey, there's an idea. Do you think he might have a couple of spare reindeer kicking around I could hitch up to the front? Hmmm, I might make the nats yet.... 8)
