Nearly all the handles and locks on my beddy have had it.
I'm looking at replacing all door handles and locks, still wanting to keep them matching.
I like the ones I have now but just need them to be functional.
Does anyone know what handles and locks are compatible, (if this is an issue?) and how to go about sourcing and installing them?
Is repair an option?

Mate everynow and then I see them come up on Ebay UK, there is one on there at the moment...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BEDFORD-CF250-LOCK-BARREL-TWO-KEYS-BRAND-NEW_W0QQitemZ120297031751QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item120297031751&_trkparms=72%3A1090|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
Better off call an automotive locksmith and a good one at that they really know their shit.
My ignition key snapped off in the barrel, had to get it out with wire and plyers - painfull let me tell you...
I then took the broken key to these auto locksmiths and they were stumped, what the f is that from? they said.
Then one of them picked it, freak!
They then cut me 2 new keys and stamped a special number on both of them so that I could get
them re-cut if needed.
Take a lock or two down to a good auto locksmith and they should be able to help you out.
You might have fun trying to replace the beddy originals but they will probably point you in the right direction.

Hey Maymann, what's actually happening or not?...... Do the doors not unlatch when you press the button in? Or are the key barrels busted from someone picking them and or jaming the wrong key in there? Because the handles are pretty sturdy and if you like em there's no prob there. If it's the barrells they can be replaced and if it's a latching non latching problem it could be a miss aligned door or an internal part relating to the locking system. It's not uncommon to find a bent rod or two inside the door or a missing clip that holds a rod inplace.

When I first got my van, the ignition, drivers door and rear door were all different keys and the lock on the side door didnt work at all,
so I got a central locking kit from Repco, 4 doors, 2 remotes, was on special at the time for $70
very easy to install, only tricky bit is getting the wires into the door.
aways good for a laugh too, when people hear the doors open "as if that old thing has remote central locking" :D
