Hi all,
Can anyone recommend replacement seats for a MK1 Beddie ???
I'm trying to find some that swivel, with arm rests, there are some in a lot of jappa vans but was wondering if a base would be a cheaper option and just bolt my originals on.
Stuey.

Hay stuey i have a couple of seats that i have just taken out of mine and have put in electric Jag seats inti my mk1.
I could send you a pic if you like.I think they are out of a Galant.
Cheers Paddy

Hey Paddy
That would be cool, dont s'pose they swivel tho being from a saloon car ???
Send a pic anyway, i could look for a swivel base to fit them to.
-
You can get swivel bases, check ebay, they are manufactured to ADR in Australia, BUT they are about $200-$400 and as far as I know there is only one supplier
-
hey stuey do you think you could update your profile so it says your from NZ? im sure it will be helpful:)
-
my suggestion is check out trade me, there is always plenty of "captains" chairs on there.
depending on your budget there is the swivels themselves

if you want to adapt your own preference of seats, but you would have to check for certification on the swivels
or ready to bolt in seats

this is the sort of style i'm looking at or similar for my swb beddy

Hey wendy, i like those seats, i am wondering if i can modify them to suit my situation. I need to lose the seat boxes, and come up with an air ram to lift the seat. Considering i am looking at $3000 for a bostrom, it maybe worth looking at designing an air base. mmm cogs are spinning. lol

George check out ur local GOOD boat shop, they generally have air bases and swivels too , see if you can get them past engineering?
-
engineering, mmmm thats why $3000 seats are that price, they are engineered.

Have you been to see Keith George? He's all into the fancy seats and things.
-
Hi Shane, mate have not seen him for a while, good thinking 99. We built a custom drivers seat base in my hummer, so yeah, keith should be able to solve this one.
Hey wendy, or anyone, do the carnival seats have a built in seatbelt, or are they separate on the B pillar. Off we go to KIA to have a look.

Hi George...Nah no built in seat belts ....they are seperate best to grab them if u r getting the seats as they are long enough to reach the floor...cars ones too short... 8)

Awesome, i like that little step in front, perfect for my left leg, it is amputated below the knee, so it can rest on it lol.
