They have chopped the roof, am i correct. If so it makes the van look like a long wheelbase, or stretched.

aaaahhhh cool, thats what Im wanting to do with my LWB CF1 roof
-
Hey George....description says they chopped the roof.
-
George
Look closely and you can see the insert panel behind the door pilar with the window, this shows it is a LWB and normally they have a high roof, this on appeares to have a SWB or chopped roof

I droped a Jumbo roof, when I worked for Gemini custom vans some 25 years ago, wasen't to hard to do............. will drop the front on mine, some day.
-
Thats actually a factory roof ,I have seen several like that here in WA
-

thats weird what makes you say its factory merlin? ive never seen one over this way.
ben
-
Merlin is correct several came here as worm-world security vehicles they were two tone yellow and white. 79-81
-
I've seen one in NZ many years ago, the person I talked to said it was factory and he had brought it new..........(imported)
-
wow! cool!
-
I don't like lwb mainly because of the roof but I like matte's one and this low one looks pretty good
-
That looks awesome with the lower roof line. I'd be keen to do it to mine but have enough to do at the moment. Maybe one day.
Garry.
-
David does this mean you don't like Garry's van :D
-
ok i'll rephrase it to standard lwb vans :p
Garry's van looks good, well proportioned, not sure if it would suit the low roof but it could be that i am just used to seeing it as it is

i now think all lwb are well proportioned. but i used to think the roof looked ugly.
-
lwb roof looks like a beddie with one huge breast implant
-
at least if you get lucky with a LWB, you can throw them up in the air and have less chance of causing spinal damage ::) ::)
