What about that one with the Cosworth in it. That was pretty insane.

i wonder how fast it got up to.
-
Hey benny, if the cosworth is 600hp, thats just shy of a V8 supercar, you would think close to 200kmh, a V8 does 300 down conrod at bathurst, so taking into account the beddy is not set up for bathurst. I thought he mentioned the speed in the video, but my sound was not the greatest, could someone else make out what they said.

I got just shy of200 in one of my swb's bathurst 327 ?T350 bloody scary but like a high speed water bed :o ;D
-
what diff ratio you had merlin?
-
My land speed is 116kph. thats 6kph faster than it needs to go
-
Ben im not sure on the ratio never looked it was a henry and it was fairly punchy off the line probly around 3.2-3.5 ish .i tell you wot she was a BITCH to pull up at that speed :o overshot my corner by about 2-300 meters ;D :o but she was damn fun to drive Cheers Neil
-
Iv been 205ks in one and it scared me shitless.....he could have waited for me to put my seat belt on
-
My land speed is 220km in Germany on the Autobahn in my wifes old mans BMW, and she was driving, now that was the scary part
-
I've managed 200 >< 5ks, a couple of times on the way to Albany, but man she's built for it and doesn't she love it,yeah baby!!! so do i for that matter, cant wait to see what I can get out of her now........NOW THAT'S JUST PLAIN STUPIDITY!!!!!
"stupid is what a stupid does"
funny thing is she sticks like shoot to the grey blanket, when i got the suspension done he asked, "what do want to do in it?" I said
I am the night rider!!!!!! :D :D :D sorry got carried away, ahhh, "I want to get to Albany as fast as I can" Handling and top end.

I got my van upto 150kph when I first got in, and got caught by a copper hidding behind a bridge.
He thought it was quite funny, that a beddy could go that fast, only fined me for doing 113 in a 100 zone.
-
gee that sucks. havent you just got a 6 in your van numnutz?
-
253 v8, she goes pretty good, but that's top speed.
-
got mine up to 95 k once.
that was scary enough thanks. :o
-
its been a very long time since ive driven at 100 in a bedford. 85 just feels safer:) hopefully ill get used to driving at 100 once i get my v8 running in my black van
-
it's about time you posted some pics ben, "of this black van"

although the speedo didn't work properly at the time.....i went so fast in my black LWB with a 400ci sbc that the rear barn doors twisted and if you turned the front wheels you actually still went in a straight line as the front end got so light the wheels barely touched the ground....had the best note to it.....3inch exhaust that exited infront of the rear wheels....awesome.....Chris Mills high performance built the engine when they were in the old shop on Kooyong rd and Gt eastern hwy.
You chose from a menu of options for your engine.....mine cost thousands in the 80s...flat top forged pistons, chrome molly rings, heads worked, mild cam, gear drive timing gear, spun alloy pully wheels, crank balanced.....and loads more.....when you cranked the motor to start it....the whole van rocked side to side.......i miss that :(
-
I remember Muzza crying about that van that after picking it up he booted it on the way home, scared him sooo shit less he sold it straight away.....too fast he reckons..... go figure ??? define too fast ;D
-
i did warn him Dano......told him it wasnt finished but he had to have it....i still remember Trina sitting on a milk crate between the seats when i took him for a test drive....i drove first and told Trina to hang on.....then i floored it.....all you could hear over the sound of the roaring engine was the sound of Trina slamming into the back doors....all it had was a marine ply floor.....its a long way to slide on a milk crate,......i can still remember the sound of her nails giving into the vinyl seats as she lost grip!!!!!!!
-
;D so many lines................. no I cant im too nice ::)
-
say,s who??? ;)
-
;D my mum !!
