Hi All
I've finally got around to removing the submarine hatch from the roof of my beddy.
Just wondering if anyone has a wreck they could cut a piece of roof out of and send my way so I can do the same thing that Worzel did in his blueLWB gallery.
I probably should have organised a patch before I took the old sunroof off hey!

I could see a coloured bubble moon roof going in there
-
I dunno about a bubble moon roof. I'm hoping to keep my beddy fairly plain looking with some nice wheels.
-
What does a bubble moon roof look like?
-
Errr a bubble window in the roof most popular colour was blue
-
see van called major tom
-
Speaking of which, anybody ever find out what happened to it?
-
Does anyone have a pic of MAJOR TOM and the bubble moon roof.

From Craigs gallery, you can just see it in the rear of the roof...........

Hi All
I'm still after a piece of roof if anyone can help.
Thanks

if you get really stuck i can make the section you need out of fibreglass then panel bond it in:)
cheers

Or try a sheet metal fabrication joint they may be able to fold or roll up a section
Or even try bending it up yourself using a hame made brake press.
Warren

Haha Warren. I think your confusing me with someone who knows what they're doing.
-
Yeah I might have :D
But are you going to be welding it in yourself ?
If so you could make the replacement in sections - make up the channel sections weld in place and then fill in the flats, OK so more welding but if you have the skills and the time it might be the easiest way out.

I got your roof piece mate. Pm sent

Alex, do you have any more spare roof? I need at least 3 x 400mm x 400mm panels. One whole is the width of the valley in the roof profile.
