Title: Dream Warrior - where is it now?
Post by: Zeeman on February 16, 2011, 06:27:03 PM
Hey all. I remember reading in an old post that 'Dream Warrior' was being restored..

In a Sydney panel shop, I think. Anyone have any leads or pics? I like the back door setup, hoping to replicate on my LWB.

Pics would be awesome!

How about making a mould and selling fibreglass ones?
I would like one for my van as well.

its this van that has the lift up back door.. i just had a look. not too much work to take a mould.. but

would it matter that it already has a window cut out?

i dont have any shots of the back door at the moment its about an inch away from a tin wall

Hey Benny, what about a fibreglass window panel of the side windows. One panel with the 3 windows in it, just add glass. I think you said when you got it that it was a wrecker, are you still going to wreck it. If so i would glass up a few panels off it first, tailgate, side windows so on.

if you are getting a shed like that we will expect plenty of fibreglass goodies benny. what is 70x40 in meters ? mine is 17x10 meters. are you building it or leasing to do the glass work. Dont do what i did, i have go-karts, dune buggies, ride-on mowers and a bobcat in mine, and then just enough room for the beddy. lol  ;D ;D gotta have room for the beddy. If your building benny, get a hoist, they are dirt cheap at the moment for a 4tonner.

Hey Bas. Was it Ben's original side panels that you were looking at getting? If so I'm keen to get one from Ben to restore my side door to the panel. I'd be happy to split the shipping costs with you.
