Go to www.4wdcouncil.com.au (http://www.4wdcouncil.com.au) they will donate $1.00 for everone that completes a questionaire about bullbars, they saved my dads life when he was younger so I was happy to complete it

Done...
Good idea for the donation, certainly a great cause and they will be needed if the bull bar ban comes into effect fully. It will cause more serious injury crashes on rural roads if there is no protection.
Cheers

There must be some idiots out there, bullbars don't kill, they save lives. If someone is stupid enough to walk out in front of one, and if the cars wern't secound hand coke cans. Why don't they look and whinge about those wire things there replacing guard rails with

I suspect that they will never get this ban into law, why ? well if the pollies are smart they wont want a class action law suit against state or federal governments. Bull bar manufactureres would close their doors, a cost of billions of dollars across the board. And you are never going to legislate a ban for city driving only, and what do you do about the big rigs, a bull bar is a bull bar, so you cant ban 4x4s and allow trucks, another law suit there. This debate has been raging for years now, scrooge has to justify his job so every couple of months this story shows up in the media. Here are a few facts for scrooby, in a year :
1. more people are injured or killed by reversing then bull bars.
2. More people die in car crashes not involving bull bars.
3. More people are killed and injured on pushbikes.
4. More kids under 25 die in their first 2 years of driving. You dont hear him trying to up the age of kids getting a licence, or banning bikes from roads, why because they would not get as much publicity, if he was serious about reducing accidents he would push for L plates to start at 18, and speed limiters fitted to new cars. I have a bull bar on my cruiser, and i will have one on my van, so they can get stuffed.
