I have some bumperettes Im thinking about fitting. My van hasnt had them before so there are no existing mounts to fasten them to. Has anyone fitted these before and what is the best way? Im thinking drill some holes and maybe get some of those rubber rings that fit around either side of the edge of the hole, then bolt them on with washers on each side?

Not sure myself which would be the best way to fit them. I assume you've already got the bumperettes, but if you haven't I have a mint set with fresh quality chrome work that I would be happy to sell. PM me if you are keen. Cheers Gordon

I think Bullstik had some of these fitted to the front of his van. His looked pretty sharp.

All ready got some thanks Gordon.
Couldnt see any in Bullstiks album. The ones Im talking about are the smaller ones that go on the rear bottom corners.
Cheers, Matt

the rear ones sit quite high on the back
drill the holes, paint the holes (even use nail polish), then something like windscreen sealer, don't use silicone - it attracts water/moisture (actually there are two types, the one that smells atracts), if you haven't got windscreen sealer then grease will work

Cheers Busy, I brought these off you many years ago. I knew theyd come in handy one day :)

Sorry, Bullstiks ones are front mounted.

Bozzi has a picture posted in his gallery of what look like the smaller bumperettes. My unfitted ones look longer.
