Title: Steering rack

Is there any where in Vic that reconditions steering racks. Or is some one willing to sell a good one ???   pete

I took mine to pedders and they sent it to these people

Mitcham Steering & Balance Centre

give them a call
they can rebuild them but new parts are impossible to find
I took in two and a half sloppy ones and got a good one out of it.
biggest problem for me was finding good cups for the inner ball joint of the tie rod arms.

i sell second hand ones for 120, i have about 5 or 6 in stock. let me know

just remember there is two types, one has spline other doesn't - to where steering column fits too

*spline ones are the weaker of the two*

the other has the D style - which is the more common

it's the part the steering knuckle part bolts onto the steering rack, in the photo where the bolt part of the T bit is

I got a couple racks and was wondering about this one, It looks straight but Im not sure about this part, Is this ok,  I don’t know how it would have got like this, any ideas   pete
