Hi All
Just registered so here's some info on my van. 1980 CF1 short wheel base 202 blue motor trimatic trans very original with no mods except 15 inch wheels, hope to turn it into a camper, brought it with no rego rd/worthy, after a fair bit of work just about ready to hit the road.
I am interested to here whats the best option for a hwy ratio diff and any other tips for improved performance. Also keen to hear about BUGA events in Vic
Regards

Welcome to BUGA Henry. :)
When there are only two Beddies left in the world, the owners will still be discussing diffs and brakes!
The search function at the top of the page will bring you lots to read about both.

205x70x14 is the same diameter as 205x65x15.
Ok for a spare if you can't find a wheel.

Welcome to buga Henry, you could go the Turbocharger route as they are very
affordable now especially for the holden 6, I had a turbo strata 3 Kit on my beddy 179
hp holden 6 when it was practically standard and made a tremendous performance
boost, I swapped that motor to another beddy owner (ross) for his 350 chev which
came out of his Monaro, I think he came out front as did not have to go though to
many Mods to make it fit into his Bedford, as for high speed diffs chech the buga
