what gauge steel are the beddies?? can anyone tell me, cheers dano........ 0.9 (20) or 0.8(22) ??

i think the poms invented 'gauge',
don't know but it's thicker than new cars (lower carbon so not as hard i think)
cut i bit out :D of the bedford and take it in to a steel shop,
but take off the burs because the bright spark will put his vernier on it without thinking that the bur mucks up the measurement

steels prob ok, its just the way the poms put the beddy,s together that caused em 2 rust.
they shoulda galvanised them 2,
because they are always bloody throwing salt all over the roads 2 melt the ice.

I used to do all my rust repairs with 1.2 zinc aneal not real neat to weld with but it doesn't rust
