Hi thanks for that George.
-
anything wrong with the orig holden setup?
-
Yeah Ben i want to go manual its has a 186 in it ,But would like to go with a 308 or 307 and aussie 4speed if someone has done it before and can tell me whats needed apart from motor and box?
-
i just sold a 308 with a five speed celica box in it sold it to buy this other van that has 307 chev in it going chev in the van now was going to go 308

You are better off putting a Chev in because you do not have to cut as much floor out & thus can fit your foot between the steering column & cover so making it far more comfortable to drive.
-
yeh i like how your van has the spot for your foot beside the engine covere like that setup got a good van there rocket i saw it at the melb meet and couldnt get my eyes off it lol and the bed frame now on that did u weld it or did u use bolts?????????????????
-
I actually have a frame bolted into the van for when I had 5 seats in the back (seat belt mounts) so I just bolted the bed frame to it.

im thinking of bolting a metal frame then put me wodd paneling and draws and stuff
