Hey Aaron
I was looking through your gallery and saw this picture
(http://www.buga.com.au/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=7333&g2_serialNumber=4)
I was wondering, on the new wheels they look to have two different stud patterns, is this correct and if so what are they ? ie: ford/hq holden?
Did you have them made or were they off the shelf ?
Where did you get them from ?
By the way, nice job on the flares ;)

there what ya called multi fits they have them on other rims too such as convo pros i want a set of convo pros on my van
but yeh it just means it can fit different stud pattern by the look of them they fit ford and holden
-
so can you get your favorite rims in a multi fit rim ?
George.
-
i have only seen multi fits on certain rims but im preety sure you would be able to but might cost abit to get them pressed out there are places around that do it i remember someone telling me

12 slotters came standard with ford stud pattern. if you want them to fit holden ask when you purchase them new and they usually re drill a second pattern for no extra cost and the centres cover them anyway.. my dad has these at home.. is handy to fit on both..
canterbury wheels in canterbury is where my dad got his.. pretty cheap too. $250 each.
cheers

I am curious as to what size those tyres are Aron? :-\
-
the size john are 275 by 15 by 75 thats the bigest that would fit under with the 12 bolt chev diff
-
Those tyres i reckon are the perfect size. ;) Especially the 75 profile. That makes them look bigger. ;D
-
yeah that extra inch makes all the difference ;D :o
Aaron what sizes are you running on the front ??

thanks guys,, i wanted to get the tallest tyre i could find if that makes sence....i just went and had a look and i had it wrong.
Back..275/60R15 107H
Front..215/65R14 96H
Thats whats writen on the tyres guys... i think it gives the van a good stance just a bummer with a flat haha

Last week I tried 15 x 10 cragars on the rear of tow van, they were advertised on ebay and fortunately the seller was 5 minutes from me, 295 wide, but when I got them home they looked ridiculously big compared to the front 14 x 7s, went off the idea when I couldn't get a tire in that size that has a load rating for the laden beddie and caravan, looked mean from the rear though but stuck out from the rear flares about 25 mm, I'll keep my eyes out for 15 x 9s, considering that I may need light tuck tires to carry the load of the beddie and the caravan .... any thoughts? I also now have heavy duty springs on the rear and the van appears lifted at the rear so there is quite a big gap between the tire and the flare so a tall tire combo will suit, by the way I have a 9" diff which as we all know is shorter than standard however the 15 x 10s still exceed the standard width of the van ?
-
that's really weird to hear, we are running 15 x 10s 295 on the back with a 9 inch and put spacers to bring it to the edge of the flare! Same as our drag ways on on this van the green van and even rubman's van. They must be some custom deep deep dish you got there, and you should run 15 x 8 on the front then it looks pritty good :)
-
Yep spot on Jas, but I did cut the rear flares back abit so probably the reason why the tires stick past them, my concern though is finding a 15 x 10 tire with a load rating to take the weight of a loaded beddie and 22 foot caravan, by the way the seller had four 15 x 7 cragars for sale as well ...... already got four 14 x 8 and two 14 x 7 cragars meself so didn't need the extra four wheels, shivers that would mean two 15 x 10, four 15 x 7, four 14 x8, two 14 x7 I'll need to modify the beddie into a road train to use all those wheels ;D

LOL true that. You should make a dual axel rear end then u can carry heaps of weight
