i spotted these engine mounts on ebay i wonder if these mounts would be ideal for putting 350 chev or any v8 really in the van as they have a bolt which means there will be a swivel to any angle im thinking of getting a set but before i do get some other peoples opinions i mean other people with v8 in there van ebay item number 260561117224

there a good looking mount and strong, you won't be doing engine mounts again, but the down side is, there almost solid mounts. which means alot of viberation will go through the van, which mean extra maitanance. if your going to have a realy strong motor they would be the ones, other wise they could be a bit of over kill

or you could replace the nylathane bushes with rubber ones, looks like they are spring hanger bushes.

Just an interesting aside here.
I once knew a guy who had a scorching hot Austin A40. He told me mounted the engine solidly into the car and got another 4 HP at the back wheels.
But I guess we are not going to race our Beddies. :-\

over $320 for engine mounts :o :o :o ya gotta be mad i could make and sell them for $100 and still do ok they look like a piece a piss to make ;D ;)

maybe you should ask the seller if he is supplying a engineers certificate with them?
i mean its only holding your motor in...... not like its doing a important job... the guy might be just making them up in his shed... not that hard.
