can anyone tell me whether this is just 2 arms off the stand and if 2 arms is enough to support a small block chev? i can see its been modifyed so you can keep the flywheel on while on the stand..
cheers ben

i think you will find it has 3 arms ben, 2 is not enough to hold the weight, i have 4 on mine, can post you a pic if need be, they are all adjustable cheers stevo ;D

They have 4 arms. I'll get you a better photo later if you want it. Mine can support engines with the flywheel on too.

yeh i have a couple of engine stands and they both have 4 arms but i need to modify them so the flywheel can stay on as well..
if i just get some thick tube i guess i could just use them as spacers hey..

I wouldn't bother going to the trouble of replacing the tubes. Just make some spacers with some thick plate.
