The lips have some chunks cut out and broken off sort of (some are circuler cuts), im hoping they are good, but as noted earlier, the whole van looked very good before we sanded back the primer, most of that you see was completely invisable on purchse, there were a few spots which were no longer than about 15cm. But as soon as the primer came off it was the length of the roof almost (having said that we havnt sanded any further along, so it maybe the entire roof.

The other known rust spots are an inch square next to the drivers door on the side panel but im sure once sanded back it is going to be shocking, also behind the rear number plate is rusted right thru, both metal plates. These are the things i can see in daylight, so im afraid to sand it back. After some consultation, it seems the unanamous vote is to cut what we can and fibreglass the rest......very dissapointing, as i wanted a completely metal body, but they explained to me that once painted it will have many years without problems....so it will do i guess. (still gunna try for fully rust free...ive save $2k ).

Unfortunately at the moment she sits as the base of a hill, un moveable and on a 40 degree angle, God knows how im gunna get her into the shed:( I have some time off tommorow, depending on the weather i will try and get some more pics.
