Noticed the petrol filler sits very high on the side.

Like that. " A great weekend restoration project". When ever did working on a Bedford only take up a weekend or 2 or even just on weekends. BAHAHAHAHAHA!  :P

Also, I've never heard of a 'dealership V8'. I'd be a bit dubious.

Probably be like most other old Bedfords in Victoria - put in a V8 and hope nobody notices. As soon as it runs out of rego, the next buyer needs a full engineers certificate for the conversion!
