the speedo in my van was way out so changed the drive cog from white to brown now is closer but still out what colour drive are ment to be in a standed auto beddy
-
the actual speedo gauge has an adjustment on it like an old clock,
u need to pull it completely outa the dash to get to it though,
bedford builders what were u thinking? shoulda made em acessable from rear of dash i woulda thought. lol

all i can say is good luck getting your speedo accurate grandad.
ive found that even if its accurate at 100 it may not be accurate at 60. so i dont bother..
but just grab them all and try them. and try martys way too. ive never done that. might be a a goer. or could just be a fine tuner.. which might also be a big help!
cheers

ok thanks the speedo was reading 20ks to fast (saying 100 at 80 ks) changed to a brown cog now is 10 ks slow (saying 70 at 80ks) so looks like the dash come out bugger lol
-
be very carefull when u get it out.
the speedo needles break off so easy. :-\
-
did you count the teeth on the cogs?
there are 4 or 5 different colors with different amounts of teeth. and there is also a drive gear inside the trany you can change. althou never done it

that might be an easier option.
n leave pullin the dash out till last option.

i just had a great idea marty and grandad!!
wehile you got the speedo out fit a water squirter in the speedo and have it hooked up to the igition and use it as a anti theft device.. have a swith somewhere so you can turn it off for when your drivie it but if someone steals your van the water will squirt them in the face and if its mounted inside the speedo the only thing they can do is put their hand over it. then they cant change gears!!
flippen brilliant!

there is 6 driffrant colours was just seeing what colour was ment to be in there and only had a brown one in the shed so looks likes its down to the wreckers and find some other colour ones
-
ROFLMAO. n put washing up liquid in it so they have to stop when they cant see. lol ;D ;D ;D hahaha.
i thought of puttin a redbelly black in a bag in my van if i park it somewhere for a security thing, cant bite me but a thief will always look in everything. that would stuff them. prob find ur van a few miles down the road with all the doors open, lol
-
find what colour u need ive got a few spare u can have 1 if ive got the right 1, think ive got a red and a white one spare
-
yeh good idea marty. and ya better get into breeding them too cause ya probably loose the snake too!!
ben

count the teeth on them bro the teeth are the key!!
-
dont need to breed em ben their doin it themselves down the back in the creek, lol. few browns 2.
