ok here is what ive done a couple of times now. seems to work pretty well and doesnt foul on the bonnet with the clip removed. and replaced with something like cable ties or tap a bolt in the centre of the hat.
orig master to be replaced with hz master.

first thing is to turn booster on its side. notice i stuffed up, hole should go on the bottom right so the hose reaches (duh)

each master has different brake conections so brake lines are required to be modifyed

look up you tube on how to use a double flaring tool. not hard. cost about 50bucks on ebay. also good for modifying gas lines too and note stuffed up again forgot to put the conection on first (duh)

machine on lathe.. ah not really whip out the angle grinder and grind around the inner tuby thingy to go into the bedford booster. and redrill new holes for the beddy booster also note. dont show this pic to the roadworthy man:)

had to grind to the side after this pic was taken to get the nut to go on without fowling.

made a gasket out of whatever i had handy... top radiator hose..

whalla!! after this pic had to grind rubber down cause it was too thick! man grinding rubber is not fun. nor good for the inviroment!

wow all on!! took about 2 hours including pics. so not a big job.
now all i need to do is turn the booster back the opposite way so the vacum hose can reach. and then bleed the brakes.

hope this helps. its worked for me. could take a lot of this and apply it to any master conversion.

very crafty Ben.......good idea......black beddy looks good too.....much like my first red one was....except mine had the square headlights .....top job

Bloody bonza pics Benny boy.. ;D .Do you have to put in a equalizing valve somewhere in the system or does the beddi already have one?

hey johnno! i dont have one in the system, not sure if your supposed to have one or not but i havent used em??

I've done the disc brake conversion a few times using the HQ master cylinder adaption, never used an equalizing valve but now would strongly suggest that you do, the tow van has the conversion done including the equal. valve and it has been engineered so going by that I would say that it is the way to go, mind you never had any troubles at all not having one in threee vans I did the conversion on but then there was no BUGA site to bounce info and ideas around ;)
