ring up the eng and ask him,
most of the ones i talked to say the petrol tank has to be removed!!
heater, wipers,seats windscreen, discs etc

yeh ive chatted to him a few times.
ill be on the phone to him again today.
letting him know this van never came standard with a demister, only airflow no heater..

Hey Ben once it's engineered i'll swap ya that one for mine

the CF has a demister !!!! its the same fan that powers the heater, take a look near the windsreen and you will find the vents, the standard heater control has a pull out lever that turns on the fan and just like a real car you put the levers in the winscreen position ;D none of them works though, I did a roadworthy where the guy pulled out the lever and set it on windscreen there was a bit of a whirring noise and a bit of a draught coming out of the vents and that was acceptable, or you could buy a small surface mounted 12 volt oscillating fan like they have in the camper vans and trucks and position it so its faces the windscreen acceptable ? dunno but it is more effective than the standard. ;)

nah this van is a 71' didnt come standard with a heater fan. thats why the vents in the bonet. to push air up to the windscreen. not sure if you call that a demister or not?? id post a pic but my sister has the camera over seas??? whats the use of that?? cant take pics of beddies!!!!
didnt come with a heater either brrrrrrr cold.

oohh thats easy bennie bro, get your sista to take some photos of a demister in a car while shes away then post those up for us to look at ;D

computer fans are 12v, mount 2 of those in the screen vent hoses.
might be a bit of engineering to get them 2 fit ben, fiberglass is a wonderfull stuff, :D
u can do it ive seen how u make things adapt.:).
ur heater box was a master piece :o ;D
p.s. make sure all non standard welds are nice n tidy,(no birdshit welds)
not sayin ur welds are, but ive seen some bad welds on some vehicles ive bought in the 30 years ive been playin with cars, vans etc.
