Title: recognise it?
Post by: hotrod on June 03, 2009, 07:49:35 PM: Found this on my work computer the other day, now if I remember correctly sold a few 3-4 years ago on ebay for less than 5k (yes I have a photo of the front, at work, will post tomorrow)
what does anyone know obout it???

then a tuff spoiler underneath.

how it is looks like it was parked in hot sun and got a bit melted n drooped, :)

Wooo, looking at that front, you can see why!
It would look good on a Transit, or a gravestone.

I reckon the builder had wonderful fore sight and built the front based on the new Kia Soul ...... now if he built the sports version which is termed as the 'R' model would that make this van an 'R' Soul ?

Post by: Bas NZ on June 04, 2009, 09:26:00 PM: Hay Eddie, started work on it last week, when I do somthing I'm happy with I will post pictures.You have a BIG red jumbo van there called Vandoo or something like that, it had a feture in Van Wheels a long time ago, I remember because it had a half naked women in the picture now that front I liked (both of them) it look alot like this but the guy got it right. Hay I was 18 or so when I seen it...

Post by: eddy on June 04, 2009, 09:32:44 PM: geez bro you got the beddie bug bad (like me), I was lookin at that van when i was 18, I remember checking out the local magazine shops weekly for the monthly editions of custom trucks and vans and there was an American mag I think it was called .... hang on I got a couple of 1980s mags stashed under the bed, I'll go and check their titles ..................................

Post by: eddy on June 04, 2009, 09:39:09 PM: geez that didn't take long ... lets see now, I got a few 'Vans & Truck's and 'Truckin' mags, all in very very worn condition, mind you in those days there was no wonderful internet available and the mags were the only way of getting a van fix, blippin heck batman ! ones even got a feature on Randy Pelcs van!! now thats old as ;D ;D
