Title: Technical Documents Section >>>
Post by: Rogue Trooper on May 25, 2009, 06:11:19 AM
Hi

What do  you think about having a 'Technical Documents' section?

We could store certain things that would be of benefit to a number of different members and saves having to constantly search archives and having to deal with broken links etc.

Examples could be...

1.) Castlemaine Rod Shop instructions for fitting the HQ disc conversion kit.
2.) I have an excellent PDF on general requirements for fitting a Jag diff.
3.) The fitting instructions for the fibreglass dash replacement that appears to be quite popular.
3.) Various standards put out by local authorities on low volume vehicle certification requirements etc.

We might have the odd request to take things down due to copyright issues  but if we put a disclaimer up stating that if there is any copyright infringement documents will be removed without question then we should be OK.

It shouldn't require too much storage space and I think it would be quite valuable.

sound great, a list of parts suppliers and what can be used instead (like mini indicator switch) would be good

No problem at all.

I have been wanting to setup a section like this for a while. I have a CD with various Bedford manuals which I would like to have on there too.

If you have some stuff which would be good in such a section please email them to me. admin@buga.com.au
