I have a cab chassis or duel wheel small truck
76 model with 173 and aussie 4 spd , pretty standard but not for long
I need to know if the chassis on this vehcle is the same as the vans as I need to repair it and if I can use sections from another vehicle if I can't lolcate another truck for bits,
it would make life a bit easier

To be honest I'm not sure, but can't see any reason why they would be different. I guess it depends on what section you want, closer to the cab should be the same, from behind the diff may be different.
Cheers Bas

G'day
Where are you from?
The chassis section under the cab is the same but from the cab back it is different. My experience is that it is better to fold up fresh metal to fit.

o yeh of course.. that makes totall sense..

I am located in the adelaide hills,
I had planned the make up the new sections as my son in law has all the necessary equipment but thought it was worth a try,
would say it was much deeper from the cab back but hadn't seen a van chassis,
so has anyone know of a cab chassis lying around to cut up?
-
vans don't have a chassis like the cab version, the van just has u shaped strengthners that aren't very strong on their own

Ok Busy, wong information given by me I forgot mine came out cab and Chassis version (ex Ambo)
Hay but it's still a Bedford just a BIG one, always wanted a BIG one. ;D

I always thought they were the same until I worked on an ambo for a guy, the chassis/floor system was amazing strength wise and size, think ambo is bigger than flat deck too
