Prices quoted are for the whole long weekend - Friday to Monday.

Just in from the Sundowners meeting and here's an update on some awards that will be included. The number of awards are directly linked to the number of notifications received through the Del Rio Weekend form on www.southerncrossvans.com (http://www.southerncrossvans.com) - 50% vans = winners
   
Some of the awards under consideration to replace the * below, include
Best Van whose owner is under 25 years of age.
Best Van whose owner is over 55 years of age.
Best Van whose owner is younger than their van.
Best Tupperware Van - most fibreglass.
Best Early Van - first arrival on the weekend

An award based on the most requested on all forums will also be added, so let us know what award you would like to see up for grabs.

This will be a very "laydbak" sort of weekend - anyone seen cleaning undercarraiges will be severely dealt with by management. :)

Seems everyone is plugging Club runs at the moment - so did not want to feel left out...

Just a reminder about the only run this side of the Van Nats that's got a few VAN awards on offer, is approaching fast. It is being held in a resort on the outskirts of Sydney during a long weekend, so time is running out to secure accommodation, including unpowered sites. Our Equestrian Lodge still has a few rooms left - contact us if you want one. Make sure all your club members register for it on the SXV main page and contact the park to lodge a deposit ASAP for all other accommodation as a mailout is being sent this week to all NSW vanners who have registered with SXV since 2006.
It is expected that all the vans from MotorEx (except The Chairman) will be attending. Don't forget that registrations are determining the Trophy List -
20 registrations = 10 trophies, 30 registrations = 15 trophies etc. See previous posts for details.

Still working on that trophy list - considering including a Big Van Section if we receive more than five big vans registered for the weekend

I dont know about that marty, i rekon i would give both you and ben a run for you money.
 At the moment I can only put in half a tank of fuel other wise it leaks and what doesn't leak
from there, leaks out the bottom of the fuel pump.

hahaha thats pretty bad matty. mechanics cars....... haha. yeh i cant really top that. althou ive been driving around on only front brakes for ever. was driving on front drums for a while there. they were really bad. now i got discs. as good as 4 drums now anyway lol. but got to chnge master cylinder very soon. hopefully beforei i go to sydney. brakes are squecking cause of the continual pressure the calipers are putting on the discs. bummer.

The next Sundowners meeting is 7th September, so due to the number of awards being directly linked to the number of registrations received, you need to pre-register on www.southerncrossvans.com (http://www.southerncrossvans.com) by midnight on Fathers Day so that Accommodation and Trophy List can be finalised.
