Van looking for good home
« on: June 23, 2013, 05:17:51 PM »
Hello BUGA Gang,

Long time no post.
Super long story short, I’m moving and my beloved van can’t come with me. I’m hoping to find a new home for her and decided to start here.

So here it goes I guess.

She’s a ’77 CFS Rolling shell.

Comes with:
Holden Black engine (6cyl, injected, stripped and on a stand)
Celica 5 speed box with straight 6 bell housing (hydraulic clutch)
Pins and bushes have been replaced with Repco parts
Vintage Air Gen II Mini (Cool, Heat, Demist plus ducting) http://speedyairspares.com.au/products/Vintage_air_GEN_II_MINI_Heat_Cool_A_C_Heating_Demist_NO_CONTROLLER-265-4.html
Vintage Air Gen II Streamline Polished 4 Knob Controller http://speedyairspares.com.au/products/Vintage_Air_Gen_II_Streamline_Polished_4_Knob_Controller-413-4.html
Window seal kit from Rare Spares (new still in box)
All glass is in top condition
Extra drums, pistons wheels and tyres

Also included are fiberglass parts I bought off Ben
http://www.buga.com.au/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=2&topic=971.0
Bonnet with scoop (including original)
Custom cab dash
Easy roller roof wing
V8 engine cover (2 piece, including original)
Wheel arch flares

I’m sure there is some stuff I’ve missed out on as well.

Originally purchased fot the straightness of the body and the minimal rust. Although like all vans this old I found some rust in the gutters.

She's my first van, but definitely wont be my last... Definitely been bitten by the Bedford bug.

I’m sad to see my van go, but hope it goes to a good home, hence why I’m advertising here before Gumtree or eBay etc.

Asking $3000 ono

Feel free to buzz me with any queries via PM, Email (chum_007@hotmail.com), call/txt (0431 936 792)

Located in Cranbourne (Melbourne South East)

Happy Vanning

Hi mate, I might be interested, which of the pics shows the most current state of the van? (how stripped down is it at the moment?)

Hiya devilishdesigner,

The photo in the group with the fiberglass parts shows the vans current state. That was taken the weekend i decided to start stripping the paint, but only managed to get the roof done.

Van has been garaged since then.

I can get some more pics today when it warms up a lil.

Also forgot to mention comes with four boxes for sound deadener. Purchased in the bulk order a few years ago http://www.buga.com.au/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=2&topic=2402.0

Cheers

Heres a few pics of the van i took this morning.

So, some more stuff i found while moving bits and pieces around the shed:
Shocks were replaced at the same time as the pins and bushes with Monroe parts
Extractors and sports exhaust
4L of primer

Any other queries just drop me a line.
